Hello, I’m Melike. I’m a Staff Designer at (Squarespace), Adjunct Instructor at (SVA), an avid cyclist leading efforts of (Handlebra), Laser sailor at (Sebago), and a JOY TO BE AROUND. Before I ultimately planted myself in Brooklyn, New York, I spent my childhood in a small Turkish town (Fethiye), where I was born and raised.

I’m a firm believer of common sense, user of public transportation, lover of old buildings and new movies. I studied graphic design because of my love of basic decomposition of shapes, and also because I was very good at drawing in kindergarten. Nowadays, I’m always looking to incorporate the best design and technology into my work. I work best when paired with an eclectic group of people who care a lot about the overall creative strategy.
